Background

“Bridging Knowledge for a Sustainable and Inclusive Future”

The theme “Bridging Knowledge for a Sustainable and Inclusive Future” reflects a commitment to bridging various disciplines to create a sustainable and inclusive future. The world today faces complex challenges such as climate change, socioeconomic disparities, and technological disruption. These challenges cannot be addressed by a single field of study alone but require cross-sectoral collaboration that integrates perspectives from economics, the social sciences and humanities, engineering, technology, and the natural sciences.

Through a multidisciplinary approach, this symposium invites academics, researchers, industry practitioners, policymakers, and civil society to share relevant knowledge, ideas, and innovations. “Bridging Knowledge” means connecting research findings and best practices from various fields so they can be implemented in an integrated manner to create tangible impact. The principle of sustainability emphasizes the wise use of resources to preserve the environment, while inclusivity ensures that the benefits of development are felt by all segments of society without discrimination.

With this theme, LEWIS-HUNTECHS aims to create a global space for dialogue that facilitates collaboration and the exchange of ideas across geographical and disciplinary boundaries. It is hoped that the outcomes of this symposium will yield innovative solutions that are not only relevant to today’s needs but also visionary for future generations. Connecting knowledge means building a bridge toward a more just, resilient, and sustainable future for all of humanity.
