Welcome to the 4th Lawang Sewu International Symposium on Medical and Health Sciences (4th LEWIS-MHS)— an annual international event organized by Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (UNIMUS). This year’s theme, “Innovations for Healthy Aging: Translating Research into Clinical and Community Practice,” invites lecturers, professionals, researchers, and students to engage in a rich exchange of knowledge and ideas.

The 4th LEWIS-MHS will be held on October 21^st, 2026, in Semarang, Indonesia, and conducted online to enable global participation. The symposium will highlight multidisciplinary approaches to healthy aging, bridging research and practice across nutrition, medicine, nursing, and clinical laboratory sciences.

Participants are encouraged to present and discuss research that addresses the diverse dimensions of aging, with an emphasis on collaborative, multi-professional solutions. Submitted papers must be original, unpublished, and written in English, demonstrating novelty and contributing new insights to the field.
